Lets see.. today I got my Calc test back.. Wasnt too "great" to mention...Then I went back to my dorm after picking up a quick lunch @ Brittain to register for classes. It went pretty well. Except, I was upset that I didnt get to register with Wills for ECE 2030. Anyway, besides that I just found out two of my good friends (Sri and Justin - both roomates) are president scholars!!!!!!!! I was astounded. Anyway, I am not going to go on about it..Even if I was applied to apply, I probably wouldnt have gotten it b/c if Jennifer Lee (our valedictorian)..one of THE smartest people I know (Jen I know you will read this..but this is not flattery :0)) didnt get the scholarship, I dont stand a great chance. Unless....they like people from Oz better! :0 Anyway, I started my CS lab today!! yahoo!!!! I didnt procrastinate. At around 7, I went to the hunger banquet at the student center ballroom. I was a "poor person" - infact, a 50 year old Cambodian guy who was homeless. The dinner was awesome! Even though the poor (that was me! :( ) didnt get anything but rice, the experience was awesome. I learned a lot from it. I am going to more charitable ..and do more volunteer stuff instead of instant messaging and browsing random webpages... The speaker was sensational! She was very captivating. Anyway, I am going to read Tim O'Briens The Things They Carried .....Good luck to the rest of the people at Tech trying to register...
