Although 2001 has gone by relatively fast, I seem to still think that we are in the year 2001. It doesnt seem like 2002 yet. Nothing exciting has happened so far. Tech started on Fri (unfortunately). I was at home the night before and I was almost sure they would cancel classes because all the other major schools around Atlanta had cancelled classes for Friday. Ofcourse to my luck, Tech did not cancel classes despite the hazardous weather conditions. So I had to leave from Alpharetta really early in the morning! I got up at 5 and left the house at about 5:45. I was waiting for the bus for at least 35 minutes and finally I decided it wasnt coming so my uncle started driving me to North Springs. Just as I had suspected, the bus passed us as we were pulling off so it was a wild goose chase. Luckily it stopped in time and I got on before we drove too far. Then I took the train from North Springs to Midtown (first mistake). I should have just continued on till North Avenue. I know the Stinger stops there usually but for some reason (probably the weather) the Stinger didnt come. It was nearly 7:45 so I decided to get back on the train to North Avenue. Then I walked to Tech...again waiting for the stinger outside my dorm. By 7:55 it wasnt there so I just walked to Howey Physics for my Phy II class. What a way to start the morning!!

I met Jen in Phy II (at least one familiar face) and I really liked my prof (Erbil). However, little did I expect that we would actually be taking down notes (although the material was very light but still!). He took up the entire 50 minutes!!! Then off to Honors Calc III in Skiles. Prof Ghrist was really cool! I hope he stays that way. I mean....he also said that most peopel get A's..but so did Erdos..and only 7 out of about 20 did! Anyway, I think Friday was a great day but could have been more relaxing!

After English, me, Kenny, Irene and Eileen went to the Bursar's Office to pay second semester fees. After that....we headed to Brittain. Nothign great there...I grabbed an omelette before I headed to Inorganic. Inorganic (which i hoped to be fun) was far from that! It was really boring....I hope it gets better. Wilkinson (the only thing I liked was his British accent) but he was highly boring. After chem, I went to my dorm...then met up with Chirag and we headed off to the SAC. I think it was around 6 when I left campus. I got home at around 8:30!!!!! Then I played online jeopardy...watched JP3 and then....went to bed at around 2!!
