At first I wasnt sure if I should post such detailed things on the web, but what the heck..i dont think its anything out of the ordinary..i am sure most poeple can relate to it anyway!

As I mentioned earlier, I went to Tech today to try and finish my Digital Design Prelab ahead of time so that I can actually get the lab done in class. I didnt get very far because their instructions were really vague. After I got home, I promised myself I would try to catch up on some reading and get ahead in my hw but ofcourse I didnt do anything productive. I dont know how I managed to while away time but by the time I turned around to have dinner, it was pretty late!

And ofcourse, my dad was nothing out of the ordinary ..my dad was mad at me because I didnt tell him about buying a cable at Best Buy and made a really big deal about it. I was really mad because he didnt say anything to my brother when he got mad a little while earlier. I dont know why some parents are partial but I think its not fair. Sometimes even when I am polite, I get into trouble for something so trivial. I am anyway 18 now (technically an adult) but my dad keeps treating my like I am in the 4th grade. He gets made when I forget to call him or turn my cell phone off and whatever. Sometimes I wish parents take a different approach to problems and try to be "good parents!" I wish my dad was like my mum because she at least makes a decent effort to understand how it is for a teenager to grow up but then again, he is caught up in his own world of conservatism. I hope it becomes OK. The only thing I wish were we dont have arguments over such trivial matters and then regret the whole thing later on.
