there have been so many things going on in my life all of a sudden....so many important things that will make a big difference ....i just hope and pray that i am doing the right things and taking the correct steps...i have a lot of things going on and a few of them have sorted out and i really want to thank my close friends for that :-) (u know who u are ...b/c i talk to you a lot and you have been there for me and u have no idea how much i need it so thanks a million)....anyways....i was reading one of my friend's blogs today from high school...erin ...it was nice to see how she was doing....i read jen's a lot and i can relate to a lot of things she says ...

this year i think things will definitely be different..i can almost feel that i have grown a little older...i have a different set of expectations for myself....different ways to handle things....i hope it all works out in the end..i have one more year at tech...i hoep its a good one..i had a really good year this year....except for some confusion but thats always there in any relationship.....i dont think i will be cooping or studying abroad....but i guess graduating early will have its own advantages....

i am signed up right now for 4 classes....a thermo course...circuits lab and project engineering...and materials science priniciples....i hope i can manage them....i think the rest of my classes at tech are going to be mostly ECE class (electrical eng)....so its goign to be a rough road to ride...

this past week...summer break....has gone by fast ...and not boring or overly exciting either....most of the weekend went in moving out of my dorm and checking out my residents ....my last year with the department of housign as a PL (peer leader)...and into my new house at HomePark...its been nice moving things and have my own little place where i can set up things the way i want it...the rooms are spacious and we picked up some furniture....its kinda nice...to live off campus b/c you feel independent..u have the campus close by to but your own freedom at the same time...i just hope its safe...:-) i have heard enough horror stories about getting mugged in our area...

so other than moving....i have been doing stuff with chirag and nisha....its been quite nice...we have been trying to watch X2 but both times either missed the show or didnt feel like going...tuesday night...we went bowling at 'express lanes'..it was nice...my score was really bad but its ok ..i still had fun :-) ...it was a funny evening..we didnt all have enough cash so we could only play one game...also, i had to wear my slippers on that day..and when the lady at the counter asked 'um...sir your shoe..'..i gave my slipper (rather embarassed about the whole deal)...and turned away....and we laughed our heads off....then when we were leaving...we saw a gay couple actually kiss (yes it was really weird and its not that i have anythign against them..but it just seemed so weird at that time and in front of so many people)...one of the guys got mad and came and nearly yelled at us...but we left before anything started....and yday...we tried to go for X2 again but ended up eating at Ruby Tuesday and bowled again ...

today ...well...i got some stuff at Tech done...sold one of my books...dropped my roomate at GA Power to get our utilities set up...and came back and made lunch :-) i have to learn how to be a better cook so i was like why not start at home where everything is readily available....it was nice..my parents liked it and it was good for a first attempt i guess...or rather a 'beginner' ....i made sambar and cauliflower curry! the rest of the day was unproductive...i mean ..i was roaming around listening to music...driving around...went to the mall....got my haircut...had a long chat with the hairdressers...it was interesting....we talked about school...and to me dying my hair and even curling it! but i didnt do any of that so its ok....i am bored now...but i am glad thats it nearly the weekend...2 more days before classes start!! i hope summer will be fun...summer is a very interesting semester..not too many people..adn you have yoru space but as much as i like it..i love fall...its when there is a fresh crowd..a fresh group of students..and all the people action...when everyone is ready to start fresh....well its almost here!
