on a rather random series of blogs i have been posting...this one should be rather brief..and kind of up-to-the-point on what happened yday after i came back from home...i had a very nice weekend, although rather unproductive, and i actually read some circuits at home...i came back at aroudn 9..went to my PL meeting...and thankfully it was short..then ranit, nisha and myself went to the Flag building (we werent planning to go to 6 flags) but just get some circuits done...we studied for a while..did some problems..reveiwd some of the homework...and then got into a conversation about many rowdies at tech...and how people's behavior here is really shallow...sometimes you dont expect that at a university with such a good reputation...however, its sad to think there are individuals out there who want to make other people's lives miserable for no apparent reason...i think the best thing to do is just stay away from such people..and not stoop yourself to their level...its like the phrase "if the dog is barking at the sun, the sun is not going to respond"...well actually its a Tamil phrase (and i am sure a hindi one too)..but literally..thats what it means..dont give importance to such low people because they are not going to change anyway...i guess we just have to learn to be smart and learn to deal with people...one thing that i think is important is we should learn how to deal with these people..because when we graduate, the workplace will be filled with politics..and we can just quit and resign because we dont "like" what people say...i think its just a part of life..there are always bullies..and as long as we can tackle them....we will be ok...my dad tells me of stories about how when was little..and how they were bullied/ragged...but we have a different set of problems here....i am sure many of us face it..but we just have to compete against ourselves on tackling problems...i remember once when i was tutoring....i was a complete idiot..and at that time you dont think about it..it was this guy who wanted help in prob/stats (an IE course)....i said ..sorry i dont help IE Majors..or something to that sort..when i shoudl have said..no i havent taken that course...and we only assist in the Calc/Chem/Phys courses..sorry...in a more professional manner...but we all learn...

I wont mention what we were talking about yday at the basketball courts...b/c Ranit has covered that already...we had a nice time after getting our Strawberry shakes...and then going to the bball courts to hang out..it was a nice, pleasant evening...anyway..i better run to my english class now (LCC).
