today i got up quite late actually...around 1:30..i went to bed late yday...b/c i was playing cards..and just talking..as i was goign down to folk from woodruff..i met the entire freshmen gang..and it was embarassing because i wasnt exactly ready...i was a huge mess...and they were all bright and walking to their room from the dining hall...i guess it serves me right for sleeping so late..i didnt have much to say...i was kind of like..."hi ..so how was new years"...and tried to leave as soon as i could because i looked totally out-of-place...i went to my room and got ready...then as i was walking back to woodruff..i saw the freshmen gang again..and i joked "so i look better then before now right?"...and we all kinda just talked for a brief minute...then i gave the photos of our Panama City trip to Natasha..and headed to woodruff....headed out to the mall with Rao and Somas a little while later...went out for Taco Bell and got some school supplies and things from Target and Staples....came back around 7 pm....

around 8 ..i went down to my PA's room...as we were going out for dinner...all the PL's in Folk...we were deciding where to go for dinner for a while...and finally decided on Moes - a mexican place on Ponce (although i had mexican for lunch at 4:30!! ..so i wasnt too excited either)...we were driving for a while...and talked about random things we did during the break....once we got there....it was pretty empty...so it was kind of nice...althought the food wasnt particularly good...we on our way back..we started talking about our favorite restaurants....and i was quick to jump in with "olive garden is def my favorite!"...we started talking about scholarships...and then our winter break...and then headed out after a while...on our way back..we started talking about sandwich toppings...yes i know it was random!! ....one of the PL's, Robin, was takling about tomtaoes..and how she loves them...then after a while..i was like..i like mayo but def not mustard...and they all started describing their favortie condiments..it was kind of random but interesting in a way....a good change i guess...we straetd comparing fast food joints....some of us agreed subway was good..and Quiznos was also tasty, although expensive....so i came back to my room and cleaned it up...rearranged my fridge and my clothes...fixed up my desk ..it was overloaded with random papers..and PL stuff...got my school supplies ready...and headed to Somas' room..it seems like i practically live here...i have been staying with them for the past 2 days and during finals week...its been very nice..i hope i dont socialize as much this semester....i mean i want to but i watn to concentrate more on my studies also..i hope i can balance it well...i want to become more involved this semster, find a research/coop/summer intern, get more info about the biomed/bioeng program...and do well in all my classes...and kind of improve overall from last semester....lets' see how it all works out :-)
